It is written that early one morning in the land of Arabia Felix, a weary goatherd named Kaldi awoke to look for his wayward goats who had not returned from the night before. After an exhausting search, he found them dancing with glee near a dark-leafed shrub with shiny red berries. Kaldi soon realized that it was the red berries from this tree that caused the goats eccentric behavior. After tasting the berries for himself, it wasn't long before the invigorated Kaldi, was dancing along side his goats - full of life.

If you dream it, you can live it. - A quote upon which, Tracey and Alex Torello, the owners of Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters, base both their personal and business lives.

In 1995 the dream of Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters became a reality and kaldi.com prepares to go online. Tracey and Alex decided they wanted to combine the finest of Arabica coffees, competitive prices and dedicated service to form the ideal roastery for today's growing retail coffee market. Due to that strong commitment, Kaldi Coffee has grown ten fold in sales since that first year. That growth was accomplished due to Tracey and Alex's firm belief that every customer, whether large or small, new or established, is important.

Similar to the majority of its customers, Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters is also a small business. Because Tracey and Alex have an appreciation for the ups and downs of small business, they aspire to provide their customers with the peace of mind of smooth vendor relations.

Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters has grown from offering just 10 varietals and 8 flavored coffees to over 40 varietals and 60+ flavors. Our coffee roasting facility now also offers organically grown coffees and chocolate covered espresso beans. The chocolate beans are Kaldi Coffees very own Italian Espresso Blend covered with the finest of European dark chocolates from Kopper's Chocolate.

Torani syrups and Torani Sauces (which are of choice for the richest of Mochas) are other proud additions to the Kaldi Coffee product line.

Coffee orders submitted are custom roasted, blended and flavored for shipment within 24 hours. Due to its firm commitment to freshness, Kaldi Coffee requires only a small 10 pound minimum coffee order to obtain free shipment of coffees to commercial addresses. Tracey and Alex would rather ship 20 pounds each week to a customer than 100 pounds once a month. There is no benefit to either the customer or to Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters if the coffee is not fresh for brewing!
