Do we have to purchase coffee to sell up front or can we pre-sell?
Both options are available, however, we suggest that you use the pre-sell method rather than purchasing the coffee in advance. Pre-selling prevents any guesswork regarding the amount of coffee needed. It also alleviates the need for any out-of-pocket payment by the organization.
What are the steps taken to successfully implement the fundraiser?
1. Provide us with your organization name and cause information.
2. We will provide all of the necessary paperwork including posters, order forms and custom labels for your coffee.
3. You display the posters, print the order forms off our website and begin collecting coffee orders along with prepayments.
4. You determine the total amount of 12oz bags needed per coffee and place your order with us.
5. Pay by credit card or mail us a check. We will then roast the coffee and ship it directly to you via UPS for you to distribute.
6. Upon completion of the fundraiser, supporters can reorder using your customized web page on Kaldi.com. Your organization will continue to receive up to $2 for every 12oz. Bag shipped!
What are the different types of coffees offered?
With our easy to use fund raiser, there are two program options available to choose from.
Standard Coffee Program - All coffees are packaged in 12oz. Bags either whole bean or ground in regular or decaf.

Is there a minimum coffee order required?
No, we do not have a minimum order requirement.
To qualify for free shipping, however, there is a 160-bag minimum.
How much does the coffee cost us and what should we charge?
Standard Coffee Program:
Cost: $6.00 per 12oz. bag
Suggested Retail: $11.00 per 12 oz. bag
Fair Trade/Organic Program:
Cost: $6.50 per 12oz. bag
Suggested Retail: $11.50 per 12 oz. bag
Both program options will give your organization a profit of up to $5 per bag sold.
Will you supply us with order forms and promotional posters?
Order forms will be provided online and can be printed out as needed.
Posters by Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters will be available to promote your fundraiser.
How long should we pre-sell and how long does it take to receive our order?
Fundraising can take place anywhere from 2 - 3 weeks. Once you place your order with us and the balance is paid you can expect to receive your coffee within approximately 2 weeks.
Can coffees be reordered by an individual on the website?
Yes! An exciting part of this fundraiser is the creation of the organization's customized web page on Kaldi Gourmet Coffee's website. Supporters can reorder the coffee online for the same retail prices plus shipping. For each 12 oz. bag purchased, your organization will receive up to $2.00. Checks will be sent to the organization from Kaldi Gourmet Coffee Roasters on a monthly basis unless a minimum of $50 is reached prior to the monthly time period.
Can we still purchase more of our private labeled coffee in bulk after the fundraiser is completed?
Yes, after your fundraiser ends your organization can order any amount of coffee at any time of the year and still receive the same prices, the same potential $5 profit and the same 160 bag free shipping offer.
